Current caribou rifle (last 3 years), A M98 with 27" .30-06 "Finnish sniper barrel" from Sportsman's guide to replace the original but ruined .270 bbl. When I fired for group last fall before hunting, the first two went a bullet diameter apart vertically, but not centered to aim point. Two clicks on the Leupold VXIII 3.5-10 centered the third round to point of aim horizontally, and directly between the first two vertically. At 300 yards. I've posted that one before, so won't again here. Proceeded to kill 3 caribou shortly after at about 150, 290, and a ranged 433. Seems to work.

Was gonna go out and shoot a t least 3 rounds today just for grins, but chill factor was pushing -20. I'm not that desperate yet..... :
