Goodness gracious, that hunt was a bunch of fun. Once dad broke the ice, it seemed were hauling deer after every sit.

Nick, pretty much anything with a decent bullet that's reasonably slippery in the wind is a great choice for KS whitetails.
Can't say I have a definitive favorite, and, like many here, experience ADD when it comes to rifles and chamberings. <grins> Will likely give the .243 a whirl this year.
