The guy that I hunted on his land saw 3 different bucks over 150, he'd try to get us on the but they wouldn't show of course. It's frustrating to say the least. You'd expect it to be a done deal with a rifle....it isn't.

Your experience mirrors nearly every trip I've made to KS.
A lot of folks watch the various hunting shows and think there are 160" deer running rampant there.
They are indeed there but to get one on the ground can oftentimes take an act of god. (or a gravity box of corn dumped on the ground)
