If we are talking an everyday, hunting, shooting, weapon of opportunity for every purpose, it would be a Ruger Bisley, blued, cut to 5 1/2", .100 Patridge front sight with two gold or silver lines, Bowen target rear sight, free spin pawl, Belt Mountain #5 base pin and ivory micarta grips. The cartridge is the hard choice, it could be the 357 Mag, 41 Mag, 44 Special, 44 Mag, or 45 Colt. If push came to shove and I was forced to chose one, it would most likely be the Bisley flattop 44 Special. Chronographs, bore scopes and pattern boards have broke a lot of hearts.
