Lionclaw -

Keep in mind / possible lemon / New 700s.

My newest 700 is a 94-95 model, 7 RM synthetic which is ADL not wood.
Over the yrs. I have had many 700s and not 1 gave me any trouble and ALL were plenty accurate.

1 of 2 MOST accurate rifles I ever owned was an ADL 30-06.

I'm not sure about NEW 700 triggers, but the older triggers were easily adjustable. IF / IF the new ones are like the old, the trigger mech is a flat box. There is ONE (1) screw in the BACK of the mechanism. Leave it ALONE - it's Sear engagement.

In front of the mech there are 2 screws. One adjusts travel, the other adjusts pull weight.
NOTE - that's how they USED TO be.

As to price - 380 - 400 $ is terrific IMO.
