Idaho, like many other states, recently enacted a $75/yr registration surcharge on hybrid cars to offset the loss of fuel tax. For some strange reason, owners of hybrids are up in arms saying they shouldn't have to pay taxes to maintain the roads. The poor babies don't want to pay to play.
