1) .303 British Enfield 180grn bullets
2) .30-06 Springfield 180-220 grn bullets
3) .30-30 Winchester 170 grn bullets

Yep. I'd wager more moose have died with .308 and .311 caliber bullets in 'em than any other caliber. The old .303 Brit was the gold standard when I was a young feller in northern Alberta.
