28 CFR 45.2 states, "No DOJ employee may participate in a criminal investigation or prosecution if he has a personal or political relationship with any person or organization substantially involved in the conduct that is the subject of the investigation or prosecution, or who would be directly affected by the outcome."
Hmm ...
One of three (3) things is likely to happen: (1) Nothing (so much for the Rule of Law); (2) She recuses herself and the Assistant AG takes over the investigation; or (3) A Special Prosecutor is appointed.
