If you are looking at a Glock 42, just get a 43.
Minutely larger and a 9mm.
If you are looking at the 43, might as well jump up to the 26. Minutely larger, but double stack mags, and you can use any Glock double stack 9mm mags, including the 33 rounders. We can go on and on in this direction.
