Going on a Moose hunt this fall. Time is short. I have selected Federal Premium 165 grn. Trophy Copper for my .300 win Mag. They chrono out of my barrel at 3150fps and shoot consistently under an inch. I normally reload but not for this one. I also have a .338 Win Mag. Handload is 69 grs of Imr4350 behind the 210 TTSX Barnes Chrono says 2850 fps. Also accurate. I am sure they both will do the job but am asking opinions especially on the Trophy copper bullet. Northern BC Moose. I know, right, lots killed with .30-.30s and British .303s. but their tag cost 5 bucks and they hunt all season long.
