Head of Tutor-Perini and Tutor-Saliba he'd have probably built them a new runway capable of handling the Airbus A380 had they let him... and he'd have been glad to have done it.

Not at it's current location. There isn't room to widen the runway. To land a plane as big as his, they have to move all of the planes parked down both sides and there's no place to move them to. It's a small airport. They've been talking for years about moving the airport but the cost is prohibitive.
