Jealousy is such an ugly thing. What is sadly missed is that nowhere else in the world or in no other time than now is it possible to become wealthy. The only thing needed is desire, fortitude and hard smart work. I can think of three acquaintances that fall into the 1% category, and none of them own private jets.
A friends wife who run's assisted living homes for the mentally ill. She was born on an island in the Caribbean, came to the US and became a care giver and then started training and getting accredited to run assisted living homes.
My son's friends father who started literally sweeping the floors of a shop the sells and maintains big rigs and worked his way up and is now the owner of the company.
And a couple who the husband is a neurologist and the wife is a neurosurgeon. They were in their mid 30's before they started making a dime due to the decade plus of schooling and specialized training they received.
None of these people stole what they got, or had it handed to them.
Now if you are unhappy with where you are at life, stop listening the idiot you seen in the mirror every day that gives you a host of excuses for falling short.
