This is the pic of my Rem M Six (6) in 30-06. I have one in 6mm Rem & 270 Win and they look very similar. They are not "safe queens", I hunt WT with them BUT I probably would NOT take one on a rough hunt. As I said in my first response, I like the looks/lines of the M 6s.

OTOH - Here is my Win 70 Black Shadow in 300 WM. I like the looks and feel of this stock. It's NOT hollow so it doesn't get COLD as an iron wedge. **( I have a Rem 700 ADL synthetic in 7 RM. It's a great shooter but in COLD Wx it feels like you're holding ICE)**

I would take this one on a "rough hunt". I've killed several WT with this rifle. It fits ME and I'd take it on any hunt I wanted. Actually IF I get drawn for an Ark Elk permit this is probably the rifle I'd take.
