Took this out for "sight-in" day today. Snapped a cell phone picture while I was at it. 6lbs, 12oz as shown. Balances just behind the front action screw at the floor plate hinge. Pretty handy to grab and carry right around the front receiver ring.

The old eyes ain't what they used to be. However, I think I should be able to put a fat doe in the freezer at the ranges I typically hunt here on the farm.

Neat rifle. Were you able to zero it with the factory front sight? My 30-06 featherwight shot high.
