Roger is right, and you are dead wrong.Texas will never be the "current shade of blue".
Partly because of the Carpetbagger Republicans during Reconstruction, Texas is by nature a Conservative Democrat State.
Since there is no place for Conservative Democrats, we vote Republican, but there are damn few actual "Republicans" in our State Government, and since we don't have any Democrats, they are counted as "R.s".
