Anneal after sizing down, not before. Annealing before produced excessive neck thickness variations and runout for me. You may need to neck turn after sizing down, depending on your chamber and the brass.

I have not necked up .243 to .260 so don't have any comments on that one.


Thanks for your response. I ran a couple .308 brass through my .260 fl sizing die.measurements were good, bullet seated fine, charged my gun and loaded a round.Minus primer n powder.Chambered a round.But had to tap charging handle lightly with a rubber mallet to eject this new sized brass n bullet ? I must be missing something in my process ie neck turning ?. Gary
