gnoahhh - I have sent cast billets down range in 06s, 30/40s, .300s and .303s but unfortunately have been out of the game for a bit. I've always thought the .30-30 to be the superior cartridge for that use given the longer neck but I don't have anything chambered in that cartridge anymore. I also think that the .303 could have the edge on the .30-30 due should due to its slightly longer neck, but that's not really the intended use for my take down F.
