I've shot my 338's more than any rifle in the last 25 years. But I still like the 30-06 and IF I were to go to one rifle (cartridge) it would probably be the 30-06. Hopefully one more trip to Africa where I'll take a 375 (H&H or Ruger yet to be determined) but for the lower 48 I'll be happy with my 30-06. 300WSM is too new a cartridge for me.
