I have never seen a lefty offering in the 7 from the factory but I could be wrong. If you are planning to do some work to the gun I would suggest you go with the 700 instead of the 7. It will be easier to find aftermarket parts for customization as well as finding one in a lefty. Personally I would lean towards the 308 but thats just my opinion you do what suits you best. You can do a lot to a 700 and make it just as light as the 7.
