How many of you forum experts have handled a new Marlin? How many of you experts even own a Marlin?
Those of you dissing new rifles are clearly so full of shlt that your eyes are brown. Reading the rants on Marlin Talk will just reinforce stupidity. Even on this forum we have an idiot repeating a partially understood story about missing rifling - and the forum morons all clucking in approval. What a bunch of flipping idiots!
Remington no longer heat treats the carriers or shell lifters as Marlin always did. That would be enough for me not to buy a Remlin.
The inside mechanics of a Marlin also matter....to most of us.
