Yeah smithrjd, that's what I'm trying to do but only w/a second tier scope instead of buying first tier new. Really can't afford a first tier even used right now. Keep the ideas coming boys. I will be hunting deer w/the scope but I killed quite a few w/an old 1970 Leupold 4x w/one minute dot so I know the most expensive is not needed. powdr
