My vote goes to the VX-1. Last year, I successfully hunted an Eland, Kudu, Oryx, Red Hartebeest, and two Warthogs using this exact scope. Given the headaches associated with travel and guns these days, I chose to use the outfitter's 30-06 in Namibia and this is what he had mounted. To say the rifle and scope had seen better days would be an understatement. The rifle had "character" and the scope's magnification adjustment had been rusted into place. The whole works just flat out shot though and I only needed a second shot on one animal, which was not the rifle's fault.

I know you are looking at the three options mentioned above but I would also submit the Weaver K 6x38 for consideration.

I'm becoming more tolerant of intolerant people.
