I won't haggle with a friend. On the other hand, I expect a friend to give me a fair price or I'll turn it down.

I have given plenty of gear (fishing rods, hunting clothes, etc.)to friends over the years. I have never taken a dime for it. If I wanted top dollar for something that I intended to get rid of, I wouldn't sell it to a friend. It is not in my nature to try to take my friends' money.
