Ignore Consumer Reports opinion of the Tacoma. They have been ragging on the Tacoma for the ride quality at least since I started reading them in '96. City people. They also think the Honda Ridgeline is a great truck......... Enough said.
I absolutely detest the automatic transmission. Hunting for gears, shifts up WAY to early. There are days I want to shoot it. Loved my manual '97, and it went 360,000 on the original clutch...
