Classic from 1996.


It is a 243 Fwt stainless/synthetic stock (factory), now I am confused - I thought Classic meant the standard sporter contour.

It sure was easier figuring out the pre-64's.

Classics were made as Sporters and Featherweights. Does it not say "Classic Stainless" on the right side of the barrel?



I am away from home for the next 3-4 weeks but will check it when I get back. The 1996 time frame seems right though.
