Noticed a very old, large persimmon tree edge of the wood line here is dropping all of its persimmons.
Short circuiting the usual October ripe-and-drop
hundreds and hundreds of purple ripe persimmons littering the ground. Smells great mowing back there. Makes sense why I had seen a doe back over in that area a few days ago.
Usually they turn orange and go splat with a surupy thud in the fall.
Pretty early for em to be dropping.
