Lots of does with twins on our place & I saw one with triplets while mushroom hunting !

Not an adult, as it's a draw tag & the WMU only has 8 adult tags.
Am still contemplating buying a calf tag (over the counter), we'll see !
Whats the point of calf tags , is the mortality rate really high or are they just controlling the numbers ?
I bet those calve's are some fine eating, I just don't think I could shoot one .

MNR in Ontario, sell 110,000 calf tags @ roughly $60, do the math !
Gotta have a calf tag to be eligible for entry into the adult draw.
If the moose numbers are as low as they think, why encourage shooting calves !
That's my moral dilemma !
