It has not held up. A friend just quit drinking, Dr's orders. He found a very old bottle, he guessed 25 years old and untouched. He also had a new bottle. There is no comparison. There is none of the complexity it used to have. Talking about the 12.


In a similar vein, if someone wants to experience the past greatness of The Macallan they would do well to sample an 18 year old from the 1978 distillation season.
