I have a 788 in 243 win with the 22" barrel and a friend of mine has one in .308 with the 22" barrel. His bolt handle did come off and a trip to the smith, and all is good. Both are vary accurate rifles, and I can't say they are the most accurate rifles we own cause a $150 rifle ain't suppose to out shoot many custom rifles worth many times the $150 that we both own. grin
