I don't understand what was so easy 50 years ago that is now hard and apparently obsolete.
Challenges are much different and more difficult now than they were 50 years ago. There is no question that society is more complex and life is much more expensive in this country. Back then you could buy a new car for three months pay. And you could buy a house for a years pay. And you could pay for college out of your pocket.
I would not want to be in the shoes of young people today.
