I used one to build a 6BR, and it worked well enough. No issues. I know of several people who've used them for anything and everything, and they seem satisfied.

One of the guys at Graf & Sons used one to build a little .17 Fireball of some sort, and he was tickled with it.

I don't know how many Savages I've owned, but it's "several", and other than some extraction issues on hard-used prairie dog rifles, never had a problem with them. I shot those guns HARD though, and Savage sent me an envelope of extractors when I asked for them. I can't complain about that.
They are easy to work on, and shoot like a sonuvagun when you're done. Hard to fuss about that.
