Not the prettiest rifles....but they always shot well
Only concern may be the bolt face from '06 to 9.3x62mm
.473" to .480" But should work
Large shank Savage actions are reserved for the WSM cartidges...Target actions...'M' series s/shot actions
Newer Savage seem to come with the 'smooth/non knurled' barrel nut..takes special wrench to remove
Opposed to the normal knurled nut & regular wrench
