I met my friend at the range today who had a Rem. Baikal 30-06 SXS. He had many problems with it including excessive headspace. He returned it for replacement and it was decided to cancel his order and refund the money. He has not got the money back yet.
EAA did not treat or speak to him well. Remington is trying to correct that and they have been polite.
He now has a couple Pedersoli double rifles and considers the Russian gun to be NG.
