PJ, thanks for the info. I think the 9x57 is more closely ressembles the Whelen than the 358 Win., as the 358 Win. uses more pressure. The 9x57 is not a high pressure round, it does it work with the bullet. I was hoping to get one of those mystical moulds from Lyman, and I think it was the 358318, have not been able to find one. If anyone had this mould, PM me and see if you can part with it. Saeco has one that is .358 245 gr. might get one of them. Thanks for all the help! It is my goal to shoot this fine old rifle and hunt with it. I know it is capabale of killing anything I will encounter in NA.
