Are you sure he's not stating 'pre-64 action'? That would refer to the later classics.. Many potential buyers may not be sure of the definitions so sellers add that little tidbit..
For 500 I would snap it up but since it is a late model version I'm not that excited. I already have a '68 model 70 in 308.
Still, at $500, it's certainly reasonable..
