Is RL-17 a temperature insensitive powder?
They claim it is, but I have not been able to find any reports of independent testing and verification of it yet.
If it truly has a different pressure curve and give the increased velocity without undue pressure, plus being temperature insensitive they will have a real winner on their hands.
The fact a Swiss outfit makes it give me hope that the QC and consistency will be good.
I am waiting to hear first hand reports back on this powder.
