I sure couldn't get AA2520 to do squat for me! 3031 works, but meters badly (for me) and so I've settled on IMR4895 for 225's... I'll be trying some TAC soon though.
I ended up finally burning my pound of AA2520 up in my AR15, where it worked very well.
What did you get with Varget? That's interesting...
Case capacity is the burr under your saddle with .358, generally. It's also been the cartridge I've had the most adventure with reloading- as in resizing cases, highly compressed loads, etc. Things I don't do with other cartridges.
