I have my share of Bansner's. I like them a lot but I too like the Brown and McMillan. Of the three brands, I've noticed that felt recoil is less with the Bansner stocks than the same BA in a McMillan. I attribute that to having a little more flex than the Brown and McMillan.

If you're looking for a lightweight drop-in stock from the manufacturer, the McMillan Edge is your huckleberry. Bansner won't supply you a finished stock with paint etc. unless you want to send Mark your barreled action and have his team do it - that comes at a cost. If you're handy (unlike me grin)and don't mind doing the work yourself, the Bansner is a nice option.
