I ahve both a Lone Wolf and the Basnser, and the Basnser is stiffer in the fore end and seems sturdier overall. The both finish at about the same weight. My Basner is on a #4 barreled 338 Win, and the rifle weighs in at just under 7lbs naked. With the mounted scope it is under 8 lbs. That is light for a 338 Win. I have had this rifle elk hunting twicw now and have beat the snot out of it. The stock is holding up very well.
