I have a Ruger M77 with tang safety. The original trigger has a pull that is too heavy. I wish to replace or modify the trigger. Here is what I think my options are:
1. Modify the original trigger for a lighter pull.
2. Reinstall a Canjar trigger. I�ve already had this trigger installed twice and removed twice because it kept misfiring when used as a hair trigger.
3. Install the Rifle Basix Sear (
http://www.riflebasix.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=204). My understanding is that the original trigger is used with a new sear.
4. Install a Timney trigger (
http://www.timneytriggers.com/sunshop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=23). I am wary of this trigger because I am told that it makes the tang safety switch very mushy.
Please let me know if there are other trigger options available and give me your recommendations.
