A word of caution!
I know that the Timney trigger is wider, so that if you select it, you will need to mill a larger slot in the trigger guard. This would not be a problem if the trigger guard was steel, but the tang safety Ruger 77 uses an alloy trigger guard that cracks very easily. I know this because it happened to me when upgrading the triggers on a couple of tang safety 77 RSIs.
