Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner about the cylinder but apparently you got it all straightened out.

I am not sure if back in the 1970s all Single-Sixs shipped with two cylinders or not.. As to where to find them, try www.gunbroker.com and just put in ruger cylinder in the search box...the stainless ones come up once in a while. Call Ruger and maybe they will fit one for you.
