Lots of good advice here, some bad. I've been through it too. One thing I'd like to add. Whatever action you decide to take, keep it to yourself. Don't tell friends, neighbors, family what you're up to. People talk without thinking about who could overhear them. It's only a secret if you're the only one that knows.
