Any person who chooses to enter an area where there are large animals capable of killing them, trusting to the "Bambi syndrome" is an idiot. As a police officer I know says (speaking of an even more dangerous animal): "the gun you left at home will not be much use." He is a daily jogger in the "civilized suburbs" outside Rochester, NY.
