I recently purchased the M92 with 24" octagonal barrel and case hardened reciever chambered in .357 Magnum. Very nice rifle - action smoother than some Winchesters I've shot. Cycles both .357 mags. as well as .38 Spcls. flawlessly. And it's quite accurate. New, out of the box put 22 of 22 .38's on a 6" target at 35 yards, open sights - no range time yet. Not a bad start. Load all my own ammo. Liked it so much I just purchased the large loop saddle ring carbine in the same caliber. Waiting my 10 days.

Love the .38 / .357 platform as I have wheel guns as well. So much potential with this caliber within it's range capabilities and can load mild to wild. Very cost effective as well.
