I had an Ottmar 300 Win Mag with all metal by Tom Burgess on a 1909 Argentine mauser for awhile.....so,I have a general idea, but that is it...You should have it professionally appraised for the best answer, I think. The 280 Remington is overbore. The 7 Rem Mag is over bore.
