You guys know threads like this is what I think about during the day when I'm at work . You've got me so damn interested in the 308 winchester that my 30-06's are getting jealous!!! If I wasn't such a die hard fan of the 338 win mag I'd consider it for elk. I just might try the 308 on deer this year though.
