Well said. Czech Pilsner is quite satisfying to a person who likes real beer, but isn't heavy and filling. Nor does it exhibit the "hop overhang" characteristic of a lot of amped up micros.

There are others having this wonderful balance, but you need to get them at their sources. For me that means the golden lager served in Bavarian beer halls, of a cask conditioned bitter hand pumped from the cask in a London pub.
