I have and do. While playing around with the 1.5-5's I noticed that I liked the 1.93" tall mount better and then realized the 30MM mount is taller than their 1" mount. The standard 1" mount puts the crosshairs right in the middle of the front post on low power. Turn up the power and of course it disappears but the 30MM mount puts the crosshairs right above the front sight.

I now use the standard LT104 30mm with 1" inserts if needed. They work well but are higher (priced) than they should be.
