Thanks to all who replied.

My Internet connection has been down, just got back online.

Gus,

I have not weighed it, but Lipsey's lists it at 7 pounds.
It is light, hefts about like my Winchester M70 Extreme Weather .308, both without scopes at the moment.
My Extreme Weather is about than 6.75 pounds.
The balance point of this RSI is about 2 inches back from the floor plate hinge.

WranglerJohn,

You can pick up the empty boxes for a buck at the local tobacco shop.
I like those wood boxes with the sliding top, I have several of them.
They hold lots of my gun stuff.

65BR,

I like the rifle, it just has a few warts.
It is a handsome rifle, when one does not look real close.
I think a lot of looneys on here would just work it over themselves.
When I have it bead-blasted, I will get the gunsmith to work it over.
If I wanted it for collector value, then I would send it back.
For now, I am just going to shoot it.

Joe,

It really is shiny, you can see the glare in some of the pictures even though it was an overcast afternoon.
Bead-blasting will kill the glare.
I don't worry about bead-blasted stainless barrels or rifles spooking when hunting.
However, I have to agree that bead-blasted or matte finished blue really looks nice.

AMRA,

I originally wanted a Lipsey's 7mm-08 and was outbid on GunsAmerica recently by the only one I have ever seen for sale.
Then I was outbid for a Lipsey's 6.5x55 on GunBroker that had been accurized.
So, I pounced on this one when it came along!

Lipsey's has a new site dedicated to their special runs:

Got it covered with the 22 LR, 30-06, and 12 gauge.
The rest are just for fun.
